Shibuya Armor: Every Listed Craftable Armor Piece, Recipe and Stat
All 28 listed craftable armor pieces in Shibuya [Beta] with recipes, materials, Yen costs, grade and technique requirements, stat boosts and talents, tier by tier.
Quick answer
Shibuya [Beta] has craftable armor in four tiers — Grade 4, Grade 2, Grade 1 and Special Grade. Every piece needs specific drop materials plus a Yen unlock at a listed sorcerer grade, and 13 of the 28 listed recipes also require you to be a user of a specific cursed technique.
- Grade 4 pieces unlock for 600–900 Yen and use early drops: Mummy Wraps, Mushroom Caps, Fly Wings and Drone Wings.
- Grade 2 pieces cost 2.4K–3.2K Yen; the eight technique pieces boost their technique's damage and cut a signature skill's cooldown by 15%.
- Grade 1 pieces cost 5.5K–7K Yen, and Special Grade pieces cost 14K–20K Yen and need top-tier materials such as King's Tsuba, Cleaver Shards and Blue Demon Horns.
The tables below group all 28 listed recipes by tier, one row per piece, with the materials to craft it, the Yen price and sorcerer grade to unlock it, any technique gate, and the stats and talents it grants. The numbers climb with the tiers — Grade 4 stat boosts are mostly between +1.5% and +3%, while Special Grade pieces reach +8% DMG Reduction and +12% Max HP.

How armor crafting requirements work
Each armor recipe has two sets of requirements, and you need both. The crafting requirements are the materials: fixed quantities of drops, such as 3x Mummy Wraps or 2x Cursed Rounds. The unlock requirements are the Yen price and the sorcerer grade you have to hold — and for 13 of the 28 pieces, the cursed technique you have to be using as well. The sorcerer grades page explains what ranks like Grade 4 or Special Grade mean for players.
The materials scale with the armor tier:
- Grade 4 pieces use Mummy Wraps, Mushroom Caps, Fly Wings and Drone Wings.
- Grade 2 pieces add Brute Teeth, Stitched Hide, Sand Cores, Summoner Cores, Spore Sacs, Cursed Rounds and Crawler Eyeballs.
- Grade 1 pieces add Skeleton Arms, Hardened Sand Fists and Centipede Plating.
- Special Grade pieces require King's Tsuba, Cleaver Shards and Blue Demon Horns.
Early drops keep their value as you climb. Grade 4 materials such as Mummy Wraps, Mushroom Caps, Fly Wings and Drone Wings reappear in Grade 2 recipes like Hugger Stitchwork, Ember Coat, Frostweave and Lumen Shroud, and Grade 2 materials such as Brute Teeth, Stitched Hide, Sand Cores, Cursed Rounds and Crawler Eyeballs are required for Grade 1 pieces like Bone Lattice Plate, Crimson Sutures, Sandbreaker Guard, Gearframe Plating and Centipede Carapace. For where each drop comes from, see Shibuya how to get crafting materials, and for the unlock costs, Shibuya how to get yen.
Grade 4 armor recipes
Grade 4 is the cheapest of the four tiers: five pieces, none of which lists a technique gate, all built from the first family of drops (Mummy Wraps, Mushroom Caps, Fly Wings, Drone Wings).
Data table
| Piece | Craft with | Unlock | Grants |
|---|---|---|---|
| Padded Gakuran | 3x Mummy Wraps + 2x Mushroom Caps | 600 Yen at Grade 4 | DMG Reduction +2%, Max HP +3% |
| Field Haori | 3x Fly Wings + 2x Mummy Wraps | 750 Yen at Grade 4 | DMG Reduction +1.5%, Speed +3% |
| Scale Vest | 2x Fly Wings + 4x Mushroom Caps | 900 Yen at Grade 4 | DMG Reduction +3% |
| Sporecap Hood | 2x Drone Wings + 3x Mushroom Caps | 800 Yen at Grade 4 | Max CE +3%, CE Regen +6% |
| Drone-Silk Wrap | 2x Fly Wings + 4x Drone Wings | 850 Yen at Grade 4 | CE Regen +4%, Speed +2% |
Padded Gakuran is the cheapest piece of armor on the entire list at 600 Yen and a sensible first craft, with a bit of damage reduction and a bit of HP. Field Haori swaps some of that reduction for +3% Speed. Scale Vest is the purest defensive option of the tier — its only stat is +3% DMG Reduction. Sporecap Hood and Drone-Silk Wrap serve cursed-energy builds instead: the hood carries the biggest CE Regen boost of the tier at +6%, and the wrap pairs +4% CE Regen with +2% Speed.
Grade 2 armor recipes
Grade 2 armor jumps the unlock price to 2.4K–3.2K Yen and widens the material list. It splits into two groups: four pieces with no technique gate, and eight pieces locked to a specific technique.
Grade 2 armor without a technique gate
Data table
| Piece | Craft with | Unlock | Grants |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hugger Stitchwork | 4x Mummy Wraps + 4x Stitched Hide | 2.4K Yen at Grade 2 | Max HP +8%; Talent: take 8% less DMG from Cursed Spirits |
| Brute Hide Vest | 4x Brute Teeth + 2x Stitched Hide | 2.5K Yen at Grade 2 | DMG Reduction +4%, Max HP +6%; Talent: take 10% less Posture DMG |
| Chitin Coat | 3x Brute Teeth + 1x Sand Core | 2.8K Yen at Grade 2 | DMG Reduction +4.5%, Speed +2% |
| Summoner's Mantle | 2x Summoner Cores + 3x Spore Sacs | 3K Yen at Grade 2 | Max CE +6%, CE Regen +8% |
Hugger Stitchwork is the cheapest Grade 2 piece and the only one of the four that still asks for a Grade 4 material: 4x Mummy Wraps alongside 4x Stitched Hide. Brute Hide Vest is the only open Grade 2 piece that combines DMG Reduction with Max HP (+4% and +6%) and it adds a 10% Posture DMG cut on top. Chitin Coat holds the highest DMG Reduction of the group at +4.5% and adds +2% Speed, while Summoner's Mantle is the cursed-energy pick with +6% Max CE and +8% CE Regen — the strongest regen boost outside Special Grade.
Grade 2 armor locked to a technique
The eight technique pieces share one unlock skeleton: 3.2K Yen, Grade 2, and you must be a user of the named technique. Each boosts its own technique's damage — +6% for seven of them, +5% for Speaker's Collar — and cuts the cooldown of one signature skill by 15%. There is no general-use choice here: the right piece is decided entirely by your technique. If you are still picking one, compare the Shibuya cursed techniques first.
Data table
| Piece | Technique gate | Craft with | Grants |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ember Coat | Flame user | 2x Sand Cores + 3x Mushroom Caps | DMG Reduction +2%, CE Regen +4%, Flame DMG +6%, Ember Insects cooldown -15% |
| Frostweave | Ice user | 4x Fly Wings + 3x Drone Wings | DMG Reduction +2%, Max CE +4%, Ice DMG +6%, Frost Calm cooldown -15% |
| Stormhide | Lightning user | 2x Cursed Rounds + 4x Drone Wings | CE Regen +4%, Speed +2%, Lightning DMG +6%, Raimei cooldown -15% |
| Lumen Shroud | Light user | 2x Crawler Eyeballs + 4x Fly Wings | Max CE +4%, Speed +2%, Light DMG +6%, Blitz cooldown -15% |
| Speaker's Collar | Cursed Speech user | 3x Spore Sacs + 3x Mummy Wraps | Max CE +4%, CE Regen +6%, Cursed Speed DMG +5%, Stop! cooldown -15% |
| Nailbearer Apron | Straw Doll user | 3x Stitched Hide + 2x Cursed Rounds | DMG Reduction +2%, Straw Doll DMG +6%, Nail Toss cooldown -15% |
| Frame Coat | Projection user | 3x Fly Wings + 2x Crawler Eyeballs | Speed +2%, Projection DMG +6%, Panel Combo cooldown -15% |
| Sting Wraps | Moon Dregs user | 3x Stitched Hide + 2x Spore Sacs | DMG Reduction +2%, Moon Dregs DMG +6%, Sting cooldown -15% |
Grade 1 armor recipes
Grade 1 armor unlocks for 5.5K–7K Yen at Grade 1 and brings the third material family online: Skeleton Arms, Hardened Sand Fists and Centipede Plating. Three pieces are open to everyone and three are technique-locked — and the locked ones step up the Grade 2 pattern from +6% technique damage and -15% cooldowns to +9% damage and -20% cooldowns.
Data table
| Piece | Technique gate | Craft with | Unlock | Grants |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sandbreaker Guard | None | 3x Hardened Sand Fists + 2x Sand Cores | 5.5K Yen at Grade 1 | Max HP +10%, Posture DMG +5% |
| Bone Lattice Plate | None | 4x Skeleton Arms + 2x Hardened Sand Fists + 2x Brute Teeth | 6K Yen at Grade 1 | DMG Reduction +6%, Max HP +8%; Talent Last Stand: when your HP is below 30%, take 12% less DMG |
| Centipede Carapace | None | 3x Centipede Plating + 2x Crawler Eyeballs | 6.5K Yen at Grade 1 | DMG Reduction +5.5%, Speed +3%; Talent Bulwark: take 15% less Posture DMG |
| Crimson Sutures | Blood user | 2x Centipede Plating + 3x Stitched Hide + 2x Skeleton Arms | 7K Yen at Grade 1 | Max HP +4%, CE Regen +5%, Blood DMG +9%, Piercing Blood cooldown -20% |
| Gearframe Plating | Mechamaru user | 3x Skeleton Arms + 3x Cursed Rounds | 7K Yen at Grade 1 | DMG Reduction +3%, Mechamaru DMG +9%, Ultra Cannon DMG cooldown -20% |
| Weightless Mantle | Anti-Gravity user | 3x Hardened Sand Fists + 4x Drone Wings | 7K Yen at Grade 1 | Max CE +5%, Speed +3%, Anti-Gravity DMG +9%, Scornful Crush cooldown -20% |
Sandbreaker Guard is the cheapest Grade 1 piece and the only armor on the list that boosts Posture DMG (+5%) as a stat instead of cutting the Posture damage you take; it also carries the tier's largest Max HP boost at +10%. Bone Lattice Plate is the defensive anchor — the highest DMG Reduction among Grade 1's open pieces, plus Last Stand — while Centipede Carapace trades a little of that reduction for +3% Speed and a 15% Bulwark posture cut.
Special Grade armor recipes
Special Grade armor tops the list: 14K–20K Yen at Special Grade, and a switch to the top-tier materials — King's Tsuba, Cleaver Shards and Blue Demon Horns. Only two pieces are technique-locked here: Infinity Veil for Limitless and Shrine Vestments for Shrine.
Data table
| Piece | Technique gate | Craft with | Unlock | Grants |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Oni Horn Mail | None | 4x Skeleton Arms + 2x Centipede Plating* + 1x Cleaver Shard | 14K Yen at Special Grade | CE Regen +10%, Max HP +12%; Talent Curse Ward: take 12% less DMG from Cursed Spirits |
| Bearer's Vestments | None | Same recipe as Oni Horn Mail (see note below) | 14K Yen at Special Grade | Same stats as Oni Horn Mail (see note below) |
| King's Lacquered Armor | None | 1x King's Tsuba + 1x Cleaver Shard + 2x Centipede Plating | 15K Yen at Special Grade | DMG Reduction +8%, Max HP +8%; Talent Bulwark: take 20% less Posture DMG |
| Infinity Veil | Limitless user | 1x Blue Demon Horn + 1x King's Tsuba | 20K Yen at Special Grade | DMG Reduction +3%, Max CE +8%, Limitless DMG +12%, Lapse Blue cooldown -20% |
| Shrine Vestments | Shrine user | 1x King's Tsuba + 2x Cleaver Shards + 2x Centipede Plating | 20K Yen at Special Grade | CE Regen +7%, DMG +3%, Shrine DMG +12%, Dismantle cooldown -20% |
Two notes on this tier. First, the asterisk above: the recipe list spells Oni Horn Mail's second material "Centipede Playing", which is almost certainly Centipede Plating — a piece that other top-tier recipes such as King's Lacquered Armor and Shrine Vestments also use. Second, Bearer's Vestments appears with exactly the same recipe, unlock cost and stats as Oni Horn Mail, which looks like a duplicated entry rather than a distinct piece; both rows are kept so nothing documented is missing.
King's Lacquered Armor is the defensive flagship of the whole list: +8% DMG Reduction, +8% Max HP and the strongest Bulwark on any piece at 20% Posture DMG reduction. Oni Horn Mail answers with the biggest HP and CE Regen boosts of any armor (+12% and +10%) plus Curse Ward. Infinity Veil asks for just two materials — a Blue Demon Horn and a King's Tsuba — though only Limitless users can unlock it, and the two 20K Yen technique pieces both add +12% technique damage while cutting a signature skill's cooldown by 20%: Lapse Blue for Limitless, Dismantle for Shrine.
Armor talents
From Grade 2 upward, some pieces add a named passive on top of their stats:
- Posture DMG reduction — unnamed on Brute Hide Vest (take 10% less Posture DMG) and named Bulwark on Centipede Carapace (15%) and King's Lacquered Armor (20%).
- Last Stand — Bone Lattice Plate only: when your HP is below 30%, you take 12% less DMG.
- Cursed Spirit DMG reduction — unnamed on Hugger Stitchwork (take 8% less DMG from Cursed Spirits) and named Curse Ward on Oni Horn Mail (12%).
Talent values are stated per piece, not shared across pieces — Bulwark is 15% on one armor and 20% on another — so check the exact number attached to the piece you are crafting. The full talent text for every piece is collected on the Shibuya armor talents page.
