How to Get Rika in Roblox Shibuya [Beta]: Okkotsu Clan & Cursed Ring Guide
Rika needs two things in Roblox Shibuya [Beta]: the Mythic Okkotsu clan and the Cursed Ring. Here's the full unlock order for Rika and the Rikka moveset — and why rerolls can't help.
Quick answer
To unlock Rika and the Rikka moveset in Roblox Shibuya [Beta], you need the Okkotsu clan (Mythic rarity, 0.25% roll chance) and the Cursed Ring (a rare drop). Unlock your Cursed Technique as an Okkotsu and Rika unlocks; find the Cursed Ring and the full Rikka moveset unlocks.
Rika is tied to exactly one clan and one item in Shibuya [Beta], and neither can be swapped out or skipped. The names trip people up, so a quick clear-up: Rika is the special-grade curse herself, while Rikka is the name of the Cursed Technique that carries her moveset. Both come packaged with the Okkotsu clan — you just unlock them in a fixed order.

Checklist
- Roll the Okkotsu clan
Mythic rarity, 0.25% roll chance. The clan also grants an innate movement speed boost and +35 HP.
- Unlock your Cursed Technique
This is the moment Rika unlocks — she arrives with your Cursed Technique as an Okkotsu.
- Find the Cursed Ring
A rare drop. Finding it unlocks the full Rika moveset.
Step 1: Roll the Okkotsu clan
Okkotsu is a Mythic-rarity clan with a 0.25% roll chance, so landing it is a stroke of luck rather than a guaranteed step. It earns the chase, though: the clan grants an innate movement speed boost and +35 HP on its own, before Rika even enters the picture.
The full clan lineup and its rarities are on the Shibuya clans guide. If you're set on landing a specific clan, the Shibuya reroll guide is the place to start.
Step 2: Unlock your Cursed Technique
This is when Rika actually arrives. The Okkotsu clan unlocks Rika when you unlock your Cursed Technique — that's the entire condition. Her technique is Rikka, a Unique-rarity Cursed Technique whose obtainment method is simply being Okkotsu, which puts it outside the normal technique pool entirely: if you're not Okkotsu, Rikka is off the table.
If you're still working toward your first Cursed Technique, the how to get cursed techniques guide covers that unlock.
Step 3: Find the Cursed Ring
The Cursed Ring is the final gate. The clan description keeps it brief: the Ring is a rare drop, and finding it is what unlocks the Rika moveset. No specific drop source is named alongside that description, so this is the step that comes down to drop luck — the clan roll and the technique unlock are fixed milestones, but the Ring has to actually fall for you.
The full Rikka moveset
Once the Cursed Ring is in hand, the Rika moveset unlocks with four moves:
- Rikka Barrage
- Rikka Slam
- Rikka Uptilt
- Pure Love
Curious how it ranks? The cursed technique tier list places Rikka against every other technique, and the cursed techniques overview covers the rest of the pool.
Why rerolls won't get you Rikka
One warning before you spend anything: rerolls cannot produce Rikka. Unique-rarity Cursed Techniques are the one group the reroll system can't touch — each has its own unique obtainment method, and Rikka's is being Okkotsu. Cursed Technique Rerolls only apply to Common, Rare, Legendary and Mythic techniques.
Rerolls themselves are easy enough to come by — you can buy them with Robux or get them free by redeeming codes from the Shibuya codes page — but no amount of rerolling grants or replaces Rikka. The Okkotsu clan is the only door into this moveset.
Is the Okkotsu grind worth it?
The clan tier list calls Okkotsu the best well-rounded clan to roll if you want damage and health enhanced at the same time, and Rika is a big part of that verdict: she's described as an incredibly powerful special-grade curse that stays by your side as a loyal guard. Stack the clan's passive +35 HP and movement speed boost on top, and the 0.25% roll starts to look like a prize worth chasing.
