Shibuya [Beta] Clan Tier List: Which Clans to Keep or Reroll

Last updated:

Every Shibuya [Beta] clan rated from S to D tier with its actual effects, plus a clear keep-or-reroll verdict for Okkotsu, Gojo, Kamo and the rest.

Quick answer

Keep the S-tier clans: Okkotsu, Gojo and Kamo. Itadori, Zenin and Legendary Hakari are strong keeps when their buffs fit your build, Kashimo and Rare Mei are comfortable keep-or-reroll picks, and Tsukumo, Sugawara, Taira, Fujiwara and every Common clan are better rerolled.

  • S-tier clans synergize into almost any build: Okkotsu brings Rika, Gojo rolls for Six Eyes, Kamo can steal a knocked player's body for six real-world hours.
  • A-tier clans have great buffs, but none is a guaranteed winner in every build.
  • B-tier is preference territory: Kashimo's fragile speed stacks and Mei's +20% Cash are both livable keeps.
  • C and D-tier rolls are what rerolls are for: Tsukumo's zone is currently bugged, the +5 HP Rare clans are negligible, and Common clans have no buffs at all.

Rerolls in Shibuya [Beta] are scarce: you get them by redeeming codes or buying them with Robux, and there is no reliable way to farm them organically as you play. That makes every clan roll a decision — is this effect worth keeping, or should it be rerolled? The tiers below answer that clan by clan, judged on raw effect strength and how well each effect slots into a build.

How the tiers decide keep or reroll

The ranking grades each clan on two things: build synergy and effect strength. S-tier clans have the highest chance of synergizing well into any player build, offering the strongest and most versatile strengths to play around with. A-tier clans have great buffs lined up, but are not a guaranteed winner in every build. B-tier clans are fairly niche and situational, so you can comfortably keep or reroll them. C-tier clans offer too little to justify keeping, and D-tier clans have no buffs at all. These grades are a judgment of how each clan's documented effects fit different builds, not measured win rates.

S-tier clans: keep these

Okkotsu — Rika at your side

Okkotsu (Mythic, 0.25%) is one of the two rarest rolls on the list, alongside Itadori. Its headline effect is tied to your progression: you unlock Rika when you unlock your Cursed Technique, and the full Rika moveset unlocks once you find the Cursed Ring, a rare drop. The clan also grants an innate movement speed boost and +35 HP. The how to get Rika guide walks through the unlock chain, and the cursed techniques guide covers the technique unlock that starts it.

Gojo — a 3% shot at Six Eyes

Gojo (Legendary, 1%) is rated S-tier because of a single awakening: there is a 3% chance to awaken Six Eyes, which lets you see other players' HP, applies a permanent 15% cooldown reduction, and grants infinite Cursed Energy. The awakening is not guaranteed, and the clan base only adds +35 HP on its own. The saving grace is that once Six Eyes is awakened, you can roll off Gojo and still keep Six Eyes — the power is not locked to the clan name. Our Six Eyes guide covers the awakening in more depth.

Kamo — six hours as someone else

Kamo (Legendary, 1%) can body swap with a knocked player to steal their body for the next 6 real-world hours. During that window you gain their weapon and technique, and after the 6 hours are up the bodies swap back. The target has to be knocked out for the swap to work, and the clan itself gives +50 HP. It is the most unusual effect in S-tier: a full temporary kit theft instead of a passive stat boost.

A-tier clans: great buffs for the right build

A-tier clans are solidly built lineages with great buffs, but none of them is a guaranteed winner in every build — the right keep is the one whose buff matches how you play.

Itadori — Black Flash without knockback

Itadori (Mythic, 0.25%) reshapes Black Flash: the move no longer inflicts knockback, enabling stronger follow-up combos and occasionally an immediate cooldown reset. Triggering Black Flash also carries a 35% chance for a Divergent Black Flash in base, rising to 50% if you already own Divergent Fists. The clan adds +35 HP on top.

Zenin — Heavenly Restriction odds

Zenin (Legendary, 1%) has a 10% chance to awaken Heavenly Restriction, plus +50 HP. Because the awakening is a chance rather than a guarantee, the clan's value rides on that roll landing for your build.

Hakari — the 1-in-200 jackpot

The Legendary Hakari variant (1%) works like a slot machine: each hit has a 1-in-200 chance to grant infinite Cursed Energy and health regen for 30 seconds, with a visual aura showing when it procs. It also carries the biggest HP boost of any buffed clan at +75 HP.

B-tier clans: keep or reroll by preference

B-tier clans are solid in structure but lack substance, making them fairly niche and situational — you can comfortably keep or reroll either one.

Kashimo — speed that evaporates

Kashimo (Legendary, 1%) grants a speed buff that stacks each time you hit an enemy, up to 4 stacks, but you lose all of them the moment you are hit. The buff only exists while you are winning the exchange, which is what keeps the clan situational. It also gives +50 HP.

Mei — the money clan

Mei (Rare, 10%) is the economy pick: +20% Cash from all sources. There is no combat perk attached — it simply suits players who would rather bank money than chase fight bonuses.

C-tier clans: reroll these

C-tier clans offer too little to justify a slot, and rerolling them for something better is the recommended call.

Tsukumo — a good idea, currently bugged

Tsukumo (Legendary, 1%) should be one of the more interesting control clans: standing still casts a zone that slows all players ensnared inside. In practice the feature is currently bugged — as of this tier list's early November 2026 publication — which is exactly why it sits in C-tier despite the +35 HP. If a patch fixes the zone, this ranking is worth revisiting.

Sugawara, Taira and Fujiwara — +5 HP and nothing else

Sugawara, Taira and Fujiwara are each Rare (10%) clans whose only listed buff is +5 HP. That is negligible next to the +35 to +75 HP range of the tiers above, so all three are straightforward rerolls.

D-tier: Common clans have no buffs

D-tier hosts all of the Common clans — names that exist only by name, with no buffs attached: Amai, Amanai, Daido, Fushiguro, Gakuganji, Geto, Haibara, Hakari, Hazenoki, Higuruma, Hoshi, Ieiri, Ijichi, Ino, Inumaki, Iori, Ishigori, Kugisaki, Kuroi, Kurusu, Kusakabe, Mei, Miwa, Miyo, Muta, Namai, Nishimiya, Nitta, Orimoto, Todo, Tsukumo, Uro and Yaga.

Watch one trap here: Hakari, Mei and Tsukumo appear on both lists. The bare Common versions in D-tier have no buffs at all — the buffed entries in the tiers above are their higher-rarity variants (Legendary Hakari, Rare Mei and Legendary Tsukumo). Rolling a Common Hakari means you got the empty name, not the jackpot clan.

How to get more rerolls

Rerolls are obtained by redeeming codes or purchasing them with Robux, and per the tier list there are no reliable free-to-play methods for farming them organically as you play. That scarcity is what gives the verdicts above their weight: a B-tier clan is a comfortably-keep-or-reroll case, while C and D-tier rolls are what a reroll is actually for. Fresh codes show up on our Shibuya codes page, and the clan reroll guide covers how rerolling works.

The overall best clan

If you want a single answer, the tier list's author personally backs Okkotsu: Rika is described as an incredibly powerful special-grade curse to have as a loyal guard, and Okkotsu is called the best well-rounded clan for enhancing damage and health simultaneously. It is a personal pick rather than a measured ranking, but it lines up with the S-tier verdict — a Mythic clan that strengthens your damage, health and movement speed at once is a hard roll to beat. Once your clan is settled, the Shibuya beginner guide and the clans overview are the next stops for the rest of your build.
