Shibuya Weapons: All Eight Documented Weapon Families, Recipes, Costs and Fold Bonuses

Last updated:

All eight documented craftable weapon families in Shibuya [Beta]: variants, standard and Sunforged recipes, 5K/60K Yen unlock costs, materials and all Fold Bonus packages.

Quick answer

Shibuya [Beta] documents eight craftable weapon families: Greatswords, Fists, Axes, Daggers, Katanas, Spears, Rapiers and Longswords. Standard variants unlock for 5K Yen and craft from 4x Grade 4 Parts [Any] plus one family material. Every family also has a Sunforged variant that unlocks for 60K Yen and crafts from 4x Sand Cores, 4x Brute Teeth and 2x Hardened Sand Fists.

  • Standard recipe (all non-Sunforged variants): 5K Yen unlock, 4x Grade 4 Parts [Any], plus 4x Mummy Wraps for Greatswords, Fists, Axes and Spears, or 4x Mushroom Caps for Daggers, Katanas, Rapiers and Longswords
  • Sunforged recipe (identical for all eight families): 60K Yen unlock, 4x Sand Cores, 4x Brute Teeth, 2x Hardened Sand Fists
  • Fold Bonus: standard variants share one stat package per variant name, while each Sunforged weapon has its own package plus the shared [Sunforged] DEF -15% drawback

The eight weapon families and their variants

Eight weapon families are documented in the Shibuya [Beta] crafting recipes, and each family has its own list of named variants. The lineups are not even: Fists document the longest list at eight variants, while Rapiers document only two. Axes use compound names such as Breaker Scythe and Warden Axe, and every family's list ends with a Sunforged variant that runs on its own recipe line, detailed further below.

SpearsStriker, Swift, Flowing, Sunforged4x Mummy Wraps
RapiersSwift, Sunforged4x Mushroom Caps
LongswordsStriker, Warden, Sunforged4x Mushroom Caps

The material column in the table previews the standard recipe, which is identical for every non-Sunforged variant within a family; the next section breaks that recipe down.

Standard recipes: 5K Yen and one family material

Every documented variant outside the Sunforged line asks for the same three things: a 5K Yen unlock, 4x Grade 4 Parts [Any], and 4x of the family material shown above. The family material splits the eight families into two groups — Mummy Wraps for Greatswords, Fists, Axes and Spears, and Mushroom Caps for Daggers, Katanas, Rapiers and Longswords. Because everything else in the recipe is fixed, the material line is the only thing that changes from family to family: a Breaker Greatsword and a Striker Fist ask for exactly the same shopping list of 5K Yen, 4x Grade 4 Parts [Any] and 4x Mummy Wraps.

For the inputs themselves, the guides to earning Yen and getting crafting materials cover the farming side.

Fold Bonus packages for standard variants

Each weapon lists a Fold Bonus — the stat package the weapon carries. Standard variants share their package by variant name rather than by family: wherever a name like Breaker or Fury appears, it comes with the same stat line. That makes the variant name, not the weapon family, the thing to compare when choosing between two standard crafts.

Data table

Data table
Variant namePositive statsDrawback
Breaker+12% Posture DMG, +6% DMG-10% Speed
Warden+12% DEF, +6% Posture DMG-10% Speed
Fury+12% DMG, +6% Speed-10% DEF
Striker+12% M1 DMG, +6% Posture DMG-10% Skill DMG
Swift+12% Speed, +6% M1 DMG-10% DEF
Artisan+12% Skill DMG, +6% CE Regen-10% M1 DMG
Flowing+12% CE Regen, +6% Maximum CE-10% Posture DMG
Hexed+12% Maximum CE, +6% Skill DMG-10% DEF
Vital (Greatswords and Fists)+9% CE Regen, +9% DEF-10% DMG
Vital Axe+9% CE Regen, +6% DEF-10% DMG

Every standard package has the same shape: two positive stats and exactly one -10% drawback. The only documented variation inside a package is Vital, which runs +9% DEF on Greatswords and Fists but +6% DEF on the Vital Axe.

Not every name exists in every family, so availability shapes which packages you can actually craft. Swift appears on Fists, Daggers, Katanas, Rapiers and Spears, Flowing on Daggers, Katanas and Spears, and Hexed only on Daggers and Katanas, while Striker covers Greatswords, Fists, Daggers, Spears and Longswords. The smallest standard menus sit on Rapiers, whose only documented standard option is Swift, and Longswords, which offer Striker and Warden. For more on these bonuses, see the dedicated weapon fold bonuses page, and for how weapon stats come into play in a fight, the combat guide.

The Sunforged recipe: one line at 60K Yen

Each family's variant list ends with a Sunforged weapon, and all eight share a single recipe: a 60K Yen unlock plus 4x Sand Cores, 4x Brute Teeth and 2x Hardened Sand Fists. That unlock runs twelve times the standard 5K Yen, and the material set replaces the Grade 4 Parts and family materials of the standard line entirely. Because cost and materials are identical across the whole Sunforged line, what separates one Sunforged weapon from another is the family you craft and that weapon's own Fold Bonus package. The Sunforged weapons page goes deeper on this line.

Sunforged Fold Bonus packages

Sunforged Fold Bonuses do not follow the shared-name system of the standard variants. Each family's Sunforged weapon lists its own stat line, and every one of them also lists the same explicit drawback: [Sunforged] DEF decreases by 15%. The table reproduces each weapon's listed stats exactly as documented, and the -15% DEF drawback applies to all eight rows.

Two details are worth reading closely. The Sunforged Spear is the only listing that carries a second negative — -5% M1 DMG on top of the shared DEF drawback. The Axe's second stat is documented as +7% Posture rather than +7% Posture DMG, and the table keeps each label exactly as listed.

Standard or Sunforged?

The two lines trade cost against drawback profile. A standard craft costs 5K Yen plus Grade 4 Parts and one family material, and places a single -10% drawback — on DEF only for the Fury, Swift and Hexed packages. A Sunforged craft costs 60K Yen plus the Sand Core material set, and every Sunforged weapon carries the guaranteed [Sunforged] -15% DEF decrease. If the Yen budget is the constraint, the standard variants are the documented entry point at the 5K tier; the Sunforged line is the route when its specific stat packages are what you want and the higher unlock cost fits your bank.
